Another day, another post...
Today I'm typing about the Tasters Team. Nescafe Tasters Choice is one of my favorite coffees. The instant vanilla is excellent! A while back ago I applied to and was accepted into the Tasters "Team".. As such, I participate in some fun activities and surveys and am rewarded with points that are redeemable for some pretty cool stuff.
About a month ago, I submitted an application to win a month of coffee breaks for my office. About a week ago, I was amazed to find a HUGE box on my doorstep with over a hundred 6ct boxes of french roast flavor along with numerous coupons for Nonni's biscotti, disposable cups and sample packs w/different flavors. It took me a little bit to find the different flavors of biscotti, but after a couple stops at Super Walmarts and Target, I was sufficiently prepared to get started.
As an additional activity, I was asked to find a complimentary coffee flavor for a coffee cake recipe and then to make the recipe. I chose Blueberry Coffee Cake by Betty Crocker and Cinnamon Coffee Cake by All Recipes. I made both (and they go splendidly with every flavor, but I believe best with the vanilla) and I brought them into my office this morning with the stick packs and biscotti.
My co-workers LOVED the goodies. It was a wonderful surprise that I loved springing on an otherwise hectic Monday. The vanilla instant coffee, limone and turtle pecan flavored biscotti along w/the blueberry coffee cake were claimed the favorites by the women while the french roast coffee was a bigger hit w/the guys.
And the best part of the day?? I get to receive points for doing something so totally fun! It's one of the few areas where my thoughts and opinions are actually valued and I not only get to express them, but I get rewarded for it!
